I liked a lot of the tools we used in class. Prezi was my most favorite. I liked it because you can see your whole presentation at the same time. However, I did not like that my formatting options are limited.
I thought Prezi was a great way of presenting as an alternative to Powerpoint. I love Power point for doing slide shows, but I also like using text. I figure I will get better at Prezi, and decide whether I will use it more. I liked Glog, but found the website too messy to use and too loud.
I had learned about Delicous previous to this course. However, I didn't use it because I wasn't really forced to try it. THanks for making me use such an essential technology tool!
I loved learning about Jing. I thought this was a great program which made learning how to navigate through a website or an online assignment, easy to do.
I really liked Jing as I feel it will be extremely useful for my music theory class. We use a composition software program that can be a little overwhelming at first. By using a screencast up on a projector screen the entire class would be able to watch a walkthrough on a certain topic in the program. Some really proactive students might even be able to follow along step-by-step during the screencast to attempt a certain activity. Other students who might need more time can go back to the link if they need help rather than asking numerous times how to do something.

ReplyDeleteI liked the screencasting the best. It seems particularly useful for staff development. That makes assistance available as staff members need it.
